GOML 2017 Was a Blast!
I have been planning on coming to GOML since it was announced, but I did not expect to join as a member of the art booth! It started from a simple idea to sell Randal key chains, and it escalated to a bunch of tiring nights cutting each key chain piece by piece. Thankfully, It all paid off! I got to sit next to my friend Nicola, and she helped me a ton out with selling my products. Having someone to talk to is a huge plus.
I also got to meet new people! it was definitely interesting to talk to fellow artists, from veterans in the way of the shop, to newcomers who came to make a name for themselves. Shoutouts to GameByte Gyzmos for letting me chill out with them and ToyBacon for having one of the most interesting booths out there! For those interested, the former make bead sprite art, and the latter takes very stylish pictures of action figures. You should definitely check them out!
Sadly, I did not do well at my pools, but that is to be expected. I mean, I've been working pretty much non-stop for the past 2 months at my new job. That, plus making the keychains took out a ton of time that I could have used to train. I'm ok with this decision though. I still got to play lots of friendlies with my smash buds and watch a few epic moments on stream! Perhaps in the future I'll do a bit of training... or perhaps not. Even if I lost, I still feel like I won overall.
